Ed Cunningham

Ed Cunningham serves as the News Editor for Time Out UK since August 2021, where responsibilities include writing news stories and features focusing on sustainability, design, and architecture for both online and print formats. Additionally, Ed is the Editor in Chief of The Glow, a platform promoting Japanese music to English-speaking audiences. Previous experience includes roles as a Music Journalist for Tokyo Weekender Magazine, where a regular column titled ‘Ed’s Picks’ was established, and contributions to The Line of Best Fit and The 405. Ed has also engaged in academic peer review for the Leeds Human Rights Journal. Ed holds a Master of Arts in Magazine Journalism from City, University of London and a degree from the University of Leeds, supplemented by an exchange program at Ritsumeikan University.
