Bill Powell is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in reporting and editorial roles. Currently serving as China Bureau Chief and Asia Editor at Fortune Magazine since 2009, Bill has also been a Senior Writer at TIME Magazine since 2004. Prior to these positions, Bill was the Bureau Chief at Newsweek from 1989 to 2000. Bill Powell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and history from Northwestern University between 1975 and 1979.
