Candace Dipsey is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in teaching and editorial roles. Currently a Senior Editor at TIME for Kids since November 2018, Candace previously held the position of Editor within the same publication. Prior experience includes serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Haledon Public School and East Orange Public School District, where adaptive curriculum and personalized teaching strategies were implemented to address diverse student needs. Candace began a teaching career as a Corps Member with Teach For America, instructing 5th grade ELA, and also taught at Bridgeport Public Schools. An America Reads Tutor at Lafayette College rounded out the educational journey before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution.
