Kara Simonetti

Kara Simonetti is an accomplished professional in event programming and production, currently serving as the VP of Programming and Executive Producer for TIME Events since September 2022. Prior to this role, Kara worked as a Freelance Consultant for KSG Media LLC from January 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included booking, talent producing, and managing events for media and corporate conferences. As Vice President of Programming for Tina Brown Live Media from February 2014 to December 2017, Kara oversaw all speaker bookings and guest relations for the Women in the World global events. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Director of Events for Newsweek Daily Beast and Director of Programs and Events for The Daily Beast. Earlier in the career, Kara worked as Executive Assistant to Tina Brown and as a Senior Legal Assistant at CBS/King World Productions. Kara holds a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Colgate University, obtained in 2000.
