Sam Jacobs

Sam Jacobs is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in editorial roles. Currently serving as the Editor in Chief at TIME since June 2013, Jacobs has progressed through various positions at the organization, including Deputy Editor, Digital Director and Executive Editor, Executive Editor, Assistant Managing Editor, and Senior Editor for Time.com. Prior to joining TIME, Jacobs worked as a Correspondent for Thomson Reuters and held the position of Associate Editor at Newsweek. Additional experience includes serving as a Staff Reporter at The Daily Beast. Education includes an A.B. in History from Harvard University, attended from 2005 to 2009, and earlier studies at The Roxbury Latin School from 1998 to 2004.
