Charles Howells

Charles Howells is an experienced technical operations manager with a focus on outside broadcasts and media systems engineering. Currently employed at Timeline Television since February 2013, Charles has held various roles including Technical Operations Manager, Technical Manager, and VT/EVS Supervisor, where responsibilities included planning, prepping, and delivering VT requirements for UHD and HDR workflows. Previous experience includes working as an Ingest Supervisor during the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and as a Record Scheduling Coordinator for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games with Olympic Broadcasting Services. Additionally, Charles has served as a freelance edit assistant at ITV and A&E Television Networks, along with a role as a VT Operator at IMG Media. Proficient in EVS IPDirector networks and various editing software, Charles demonstrates extensive technical expertise in live production workflows.
