Michael Howard

Michael Howard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael started their career as a Publisher's Representative in BFW Publishing in 2000 and then moved on to Holtzbrinck Publishers as a Senior Sales Specialist. In this role, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and played a key role in the development, marketing, and success of print and digital products.

In 2012, Michael joined Macmillan Science and Education as a Technology and Product Specialist Manager in the Western Division. Michael developed and implemented annual business plans, managed budgets, and analyzed the region to identify training opportunities and maximize sales.

From 2012 to 2016, Michael served as a Regional Sales Manager at Macmillan Learning, leading a team of ten sales consultants in the Western US and Canada. Michael developed and executed strategies for net-new and renewal business, growing revenue and market share through product strategies, acquisitions, and digital transitions.

In 2017, Michael took on the role of Senior Sales and Acquisitions at Macmillan Learning, responsible for increasing sales and revenue across 14 states in the Curriculum Solution group. Michael collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify and present SaaS solutions, focusing on digital transitions and long-term cloud strategies.

Michael then transitioned to Top Hat in 2020, where they held the positions of Senior Publisher Acquisitions Manager and Director of Sales-Strategic Accounts-West. In these roles, they contributed to the growth and success of the company by managing strategic accounts, acquiring publishers, and executing sales strategies.

In 2022, Michael joined Hawkes Learning as a Sales Manager, driving sales initiatives until 2023 when they joined BeyondLabz as a Member of the Supervisory Board. Currently, they are the Director of Sales at TimelyCare, where they oversee sales operations.

Throughout their career, Michael Howard has consistently demonstrated strong sales and leadership abilities, driving revenue growth and market share through strategic planning, acquisitions, and digital transitions. Michael has a wealth of experience in the educational publishing industry.

Michael Howard attended the University of Utah from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business/Managerial Economics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Executive Leadership, Sales Forecasting, and Managing Remote Teams, from LinkedIn in 2021.
