Athanasios Kostopoulos

Athanasios Kostopoulos has a wealth of experience in the security and DevOps engineering fields. Athanasios began their career in 2014 as a Senior DevOps Engineer at HERE. In 2016, they moved to COREtransform as a System Architect, where they designed and implemented microservices based architecture and Kubernetes clusters. In 2017, they joined Zalando SE as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they were responsible for the design, security and implementation of a departmental Data Warehouse. In 2018, they worked at Red Hat as a Software Engineer and at OSRAM as a Principal DevSecOps Engineer. In 2019, they were employed as an Engineering Lead - Security at YUNAR by Ambidexter and as a Cloud/Security/Kubernetes Consultant at Self-Employed. In 2021, they worked as a Staff Security Engineer at Affinidi and is currently employed as a Staff Security Engineer at Timescale.

Athanasios Kostopoulos graduated from the University of Reading in 2005 with a Bsc(Hons) in Computer Science and Cybernetics. Athanasios'sfield of study was Computer Science and Cybernetics. Athanasios also graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2002 with a Bsc(Hons) in Computing and Networks. Athanasios'sfield of study was Computer Science and Networking.
