Razvan Gherghina

Razvan Gherghina has worked in various roles since 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they were an IT Analyst/Project Manager at CILDRO SA, followed by an IT Consultant role at Midicom from 2005 to 2006. Razvan then worked as a Project Manager at CILDRO mobila from 2006 to 2008, where they implemented Clarvision ERP and designed and developed various APIs and customisations in .NET for integrating with the new ERP. From 2008 to 2011, they were the Chief Technology Officer at OptoNet, working on applications, integrations with Meteor, Node.js, Javascript, and back-end services such as PDF manipulations, extracting text, merging, and splitting. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer/Team Leader at Wolters Kluwer Italia, designing and leading a team of software engineers for the internal project Assistel. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been an Engineering Manager, Core API at TIMIFY, where they have adapted the system to support large enterprise customers, scaled the system to support a rapidly increasing user base, and implemented agile software development processes to reduce feature-to-market time.

Razvan Gherghina obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest between 1998 and 2003. Razvan then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Banks from Universitatea din Craiova between 2002 and 2005. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Redis Streams from Redis in December 2022.
