Nathan Grant has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nathan began their career at Dondero Incorporated, where they worked from 2001 to 2005. Afterwards, they joined Houff Transfer Inc. as a webmaster from 1998 to 2010, during which they designed and updated the company's web presence. From 2006 to 2014, Nathan worked at Groundwork Design as a Senior Applications Developer, where they played a key role in the transition of the codebase to Actionscript 3 and later to HTML5/JavaScript. Nathan also helped create the MVC framework for the company's web applications. In 2014, Nathan joined Timmons Group as a Web Application Developer until 2017. At Snag, they served as a Senior Front End Web Engineer from 2017 to 2018, focused on refactoring ecommerce and building new features for the platform. Nathan then worked at NSTO as a Senior Developer from 2018 to 2020, where they trained and mentored junior developers and worked on Magento instances using PHP and various JavaScript frameworks. Currently, they are employed at Timmons Group as a Software Architect, specializing in front-end development for large geospatial applications using an array of technologies such as ES6, Angular, Vue, React, and AWS. In this role, Nathan contributes to the development of applications and integrates technologies like Docker, .NET Core, and Umbraco. Alongside their professional career, Nathan Grant has been involved with their family's business, Ridge Road Ranch, a choose and cut Christmas tree farm, since 1983, handling various tasks such as pruning, sales, maintenance, and creation.
Nathan Grant attended Longwood University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art and also a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
