Harmen Akkerman

Harmen Akkerman, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public governance and oversight, currently serves as a member of the supervisory board at Timon Jeugd- en (jong)volwassenenzorg and holds various positions including independent chairman of Stichting Samenwerkingsverband VO PasVOrm Gorinchem e.o. Since 1982, Akkerman has had a long-standing involvement with the SGP, where they served as a councillor and subsequently as a municipal executive. With a solid background in finance and a passion for youth care, they focus on creating collaborative environments while maintaining a sense of humor and kindness in their interactions. Akkerman graduated with a degree in Dairy Farming with Agricultural Technology from HAS Leeuwarden in 1981.
