Simon Mapletoft

Simon Mapletoft is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in application development and education in computer games development. Currently serving as the Application Development Manager at Timpson Group PLC since September 2016, Simon has previously held roles as a Senior Software Developer and Software Developer within the same company. Prior teaching positions include proportional lecturer roles at West Cheshire College and Stoke on Trent College, specializing in BTEC-level computer games design, web design, and creative media production. In addition to academic experience, Simon co-founded LEEP Designs, serving as Creative Director from September 2009 to May 2011. Simon holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with Merit in Computer Games Design from the University of Staffordshire, alongside additional qualifications in teaching and technology.
