David Wall

Creative Director at Tines

David Wall has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. David is currently working as a Creative Director at Tines since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Design at McCann Dublin from November 2019 to September 2022. In 2017, they joined the Board of the Institute of Designers in Ireland. From November 2015 to October 2019, they worked as a Designer/Director at WorkGroup, where their work received recognition from various awards bodies and was added to the permanent collections of prestigious institutions such as the Art Institute of Chicago and the National Library of Ireland. David also worked as a Writer at Totally Dublin from January 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, they played a pivotal role as a Steering Committee/Co-Founder at the 100 Archive, a national archive of graphic design in Ireland, from 2012 to 2018. David Wall has also contributed as a Student Awards Assessor in 2015 and 2016 for the International Society Of Typographic Designers (ISTD). David served as an External Examiner at the Limerick Institute of Technology-School of Design from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their current roles, they were a Partner at Conor & David from March 2006 to November 2015.

David Wall attended the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Design degree with First Class Honours in Visual Communication. In 2001, they briefly studied Graphic Design, Web Design, and Animation at Lahti University of Applied Sciences. In 2021, they completed a Professional Diploma in Design Leadership from Design Skillnet and PARK. David also obtained a certification in Design Leadership from PARK in November 2021.
