Malavika

Malavika Balasubramanian is an experienced professional in the field of communications and journalism, currently serving as Associate Creative Director, Lead Copywriter, and Senior Copywriter at TING since November 2019. Prior to this role, Malavika worked at The Hindu as a Senior Reporter, focusing on lifestyle events in Chennai and Tamil Nadu, where over 50 stories were published following interviews with key figures in the arts scene. Malavika's career also includes time as a Reporter at The Quint from April 2017 to May 2019, where over 100 stories were ideated, reported, and edited, along with mentoring a team of deskwriters and leading a fact-checking desk during the 2019 elections. Malavika holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women.
