Em K. currently serves as the Head of Service Design + Discovery at Ting Internet, responsible for developing a strategy that enhances service design and customer experience through AI-enabled automation. Previously, Em held the title of Sr. Director of Design + Discovery, leading initiatives on business systems design and product design to create impactful, AI-supported solutions. Prior to Ting Internet, Em worked at Tucows as the Director of Business Systems Design, providing insights through audits of operational systems, and as the Director of Product Design and UX, driving transformative design efforts across various products. Em's design journey began with roles at HUMANCONTACT, Isherwood Geostructural Engineers, Blue Ant Media, and University Health Network. Em holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Toronto and an Advanced Design Diploma in Advertising from George Brown College.
