David Taylor

Back End Developer at MODE

David Taylor has over 18 years of work experience. David started their career in 2004 as a Digital Design Engineer at Xilinx, where they were responsible for digital design and verification, digital IP release, and PCI/PCIe. In 2010, they joined Linatech as an Engineer, where they interfaced between customers and software engineers, and was responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of medical systems used for radiation treatment. In 2012, they joined Fastor Systems as an FPGA Digital Design Engineer, where they were responsible for FPGA logic design, verification, synthesis, and testing of high capacity NAND flash NVMe/PCIe storage system, using Verilog, Clang, TCL, Perl, and Jenkins. David was the first employee at the company. In 2016, they joined WaterBit, Inc. as an IOT Engineer (firmware/software). Currently, they are a Back End Developer at MODE, Inc., a position they have held since 2022.

David Taylor completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at San Francisco State University in 1997. David then went on to earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University in 2009.
