Ian Yang

Ian Y. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and nonprofit leadership. As Director and Co-Founder of Orientime Capital, Inc., established in June 2021, Ian oversees strategic investments in impactful sectors across North America. Since April 2024, Ian has served as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and the Mid-Main Community Health Centre, focusing on enhancing health and safety standards. In addition to these roles, Ian holds positions as a Venture Scout with several venture capital firms, including Beyond Capital, Exitfund, Climate Capital, Earthshot Ventures, and 7BC Venture Capital, where a focus is placed on supporting innovative startups and addressing climate-related challenges. Ian possesses a strong educational background, featuring a Master of Finance from the Rotman School of Management and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology, among other qualifications.
