Joel Frank

Joel Frank has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Development Engineer and Software Engineer at Applied Signal Technology. In 2011, they moved on to UC Santa Cruz as a Graduate Researcher. In 2013, they Co-Founded and became Lead Engineer at GroupTing. In 2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer at ipsy. In 2017, they were a Mobile Lead and Sr. iOS Engineer at Cat Digital Labs, and a Sr. iOS Engineer at Yard Club (which was later acquired by Caterpillar). In 2018, they became Lead Mobile Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. In 2020, they were a Mobile BLE Engineer at Bleu and Chief Technology Officer at DrLullaby. Currently, they are a Lead Mobile Engineer at Tinybeans.

Joel Frank received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a MS in Computer Science from San Jose State University in 2008, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University in 2006. Joel also has experience with React Native from Zero To Mastery Academy.
