Peter Ing

Peter Ing is an experienced professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for the South African AI Association and a Distinguished Ambassador at Arm. Since 2021, Peter has co-organized and led TinyML initiatives in South Africa and has been recognized as an Ambassador for Edge Impulse. Peter's career at TFG (The Foschini Group) spans over a decade, progressing from a Senior Technician in DC Systems to a Senior Mechatronic Engineer. Prior experience includes roles as an Electronics Technician and Technical Supervisor at Trapeace SA and IT Support Technician at BCX. Peter began the engineering journey as a Trainee at Cape Advanced Engineering, specializing in instrumentation and control within the automotive sector. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
