Robby Yung's work experience begins in 2012 when they became a Director at Outblaze Ventures/Animoca, a prominent mobile app developer in Asia. In 2014, they assumed the position of CEO at Animoca Brands, a leading company in digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification. Under their leadership, Animoca Brands developed and published various products, including original games and those based on popular intellectual properties. In 2016, Robby Yung joined TicBits Ltd as a Director. Over the years, they held directorial roles in multiple subsidiaries of Animoca Brands, including The Sandbox, TinyTap, Grease Monkey Games, GAMEE, and nWay Inc. In 2022, they became a Partner at Animoca Capital and Vice Chair and Treasurer at OMA3, where they work towards ensuring interoperability and transparency in the Web3 metaverse.

Robby Yung has a Bachelor of Arts cum laude degree in Public Policy & East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago. Robby also holds a Master's degree in International Relations / East Asian Studies from New York University. Prior to their higher education, Robby Yung attended Brunswick School and Greenwich Country Day School. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a certification as a speaker from NFT.NYC in November 2021.
