Johan D. is an experienced finance and M&A educator and consultant, currently serving as a Finance and M&A Teacher at Hogeschool Tio since September 2018, where Johan has been recognized as the best teacher and has organized finance project weeks for business students. As the Owner and Director of JAX Venture Finance since October 2009, Johan provides funding assistance and strategic advice to technology start-ups and scale-ups. Johan has also advised over 50 tech start-ups during the Startupbootcamp acceleration program from May 2014 to May 2016. Prior experience includes senior roles in strategy consulting and financial advisory at BearingPoint and KPMG, as well as academic positions at RSM Erasmus University and the Dutch Central Bank. Johan holds an Executive Master in Finance from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
