Before that, Marco worked as a Finance, Restructuring & Turnaround Professional at Emperor Consulting, focusing on financial restructuring, turnaround management, and financial management. Marco also has experience as an Interim Financial Professional at Emperor Consulting South Africa, where they provided financial consulting services and expertise in turnaround and business rescue. Marco began their career at PwC, where they worked as a Manager for several years. Overall, Marco has a strong background in finance and consultancy, with expertise in various industries and a preference for working with small and medium-sized companies facing complex financial challenges.
Marco Keijzers started their education in 1991 at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Accountancy. Marco completed this program in 1998. In 1999, Marco enrolled at Tilburg University, where they obtained a degree in RA (Accountancy) in 2003. In 2014, they attended the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners to become a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with a focus on Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation. In 2015, Marco pursued further education at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and achieved certification as a Business Rescue Analyst.
