Jimmy Borg

Jimmy Borg has a diverse work experience in data-related roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Programmer at Enemalta and then moved on to Bank of Valletta plc in the same role in 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Jimmy worked as a Senior Java Developer at Ixaris Systems Ltd. Jimmy then joined Betsson Group in 2011 as a Business Intelligence Developer before transitioning to the role of Data Warehouse Technical Architect in 2013. In 2015, Jimmy briefly worked as an MI Architect at Motability Operations before returning to Betsson Group in 2016 as a Big Data Engineer. In 2017, they joined Tipico as a Data Architect and later became the Head of Data in 2019.

Jimmy Borg attended the University of Malta from 2003 to 2007, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Edinburgh and obtained a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence, specializing in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning in 2011.
