Matthias Folkmann

Matthias Folkmann has extensive work experience in the corporate communications and PR industry. Matthias is currently serving as the Head of Corporate Communications at Tipico since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Lektor at Donau-Universität Krems from September 2014. Matthias also served as the Head of PR at DAZN from June 2016 to February 2020. Before that, Matthias was a Senior PR Consultant at ServusTV from September 2013 to May 2016, where they managed various sports PR projects. Matthias also worked at laola1.at GmbH as a Moderator, Kommentator, and Redakteur from November 2010 to May 2016, covering football and hockey leagues. Matthias has also served as a Creative Director at Radio ENERGY (NRJ) from November 2010 to April 2013, responsible for planning and implementing special advertising campaigns and on-air promotions. Matthias started their career at Sky in February 2004, where they worked as a Moderator and Redakteur until November 2010. Overall, Matthias has demonstrated expertise in corporate communications, PR, sports PR, and on-air marketing throughout their career.

Matthias Folkmann completed their education from 1996 to 2004 at the University of Vienna, where they obtained a degree in "Mag. rer. soc. oec" in the field of study of "Internationale Betriebswirtschaft."
