Thorsten Hoellrigl

Thorsten Hoellrigl has a comprehensive and diverse work experience. Thorsten is currently serving as the CTO of Tipico North America since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Director of Technology Strategy and Innovation at Tipico. Thorsten also worked at Google as a Software Engineering Manager from 2019 to 2021. Thorsten held the position of Senior Director and Director at Hitachi Vantara from 2016 to 2019, where they were responsible for various software engineering roles. Before that, they worked at Thomson Reuters in different capacities, including Director and Head of Product Development roles. Thorsten also gained experience at AVEDAS AG, now part of Thomson Reuters, as a Product Director and Software Engineer. Thorsten began their career at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the University of Karlsruhe, where they worked as a Postdoctoral research fellow, Software Engineer, and Research Assistant.

Thorsten Hoellrigl completed their education with a Master of Science (Dipl.-Inf.) degree in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 1999 to 2005. Thorsten then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a PhD (Dr.-Eng.) degree in Computer Science from 2006 to 2010. In 2018, they attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth for Executive Education in Leadership and Strategic Impact, although the degree name is not provided.
