David Tashjian has over 40 years of professional experience. David began their career in 1977 as an Industrial Engineer at Reynolds Metals Co. In 1982, they moved to Salomon Brothers, where they served as Director of High Yield Trading, managing 5 traders and $1.0 billion+ in positions. In 1989, they co-founded Grantchester Securities, a High Yield franchise for Wasserstein Perella & Co. with $50 million in funding. In 1992, they joined Lazard as CEO of Global Capital Markets and Managing Partner of Distressed Investing. David developed and ran a successful Global Special Situations Loan Trading business, and was promoted to CEO of Global Capital Markets in 1999. In 2008, they co-founded LINQ3 Technologies, LLC, a technology company in the lottery and money processing spaces, and built it to seventy employees with offices in NYC and L.A. Most recently, they served as CEO/President of Tippy, a digital tipping platform built for service industry professionals.
David Tashjian attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College in 1977. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 1982, with a focus in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
