Joel Blanke

Joel Blanke is currently working at Tiptapp as the Head of Strategy & Operations, starting in August 2022. Before that, they held the position of Product Manager/Product Owner from November 2020 to August 2022. Joel also worked as an Operations Manager at Tiptapp from August 2019 to November 2020 and as an Expansion Analyst from October 2018 to August 2019. Prior to their time at Tiptapp, Joel was a Research Assistant Intern at S&P Global Ratings from June 2018 to August 2018. Joel also participated in a Fellowship program at Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship from May 2018 to August 2018. Joel was a participant in The Academy at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from April 2018 to May 2018. Joel started their career as a Corporate Finance Intern at SEB from May 2017 to July 2017. Joel also gained experience as a Business Controller Intern at H&M in June 2016 and as a Summer Intern at Nordea Group Treasury from June 2015 to August 2015. Before entering the finance industry, Joel worked as a Sales Associate at Hestra Gloves from October 2013 to January 2015. Joel also worked as a Loan Administrator at Advisa AB from August 2012 to December 2012. Joel began their professional journey as an Alpine skiing instructor at Friluftsfrämjandet (Swedish Outdoor Association) from January 2010 to February 2012.

Joel Blanke has a diverse education history. Joel obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business & Economics from the same institution from 2014 to 2017. In 2016, Joel briefly studied at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics. Before their university studies, they took a course on Theoretical Philosophy I at Stockholm University in 2013, earning 30 ECTS credits. Joel completed their upper secondary education at Gångsätra Gymnasium from 2009 to 2012, specializing in the social science program. Joel also attended Gymnasium Kirchenfeld in Bern from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued the social science program. Additionally, Joel holds a certification as a skiing instructor from Friluftsfrämjandet (Swedish Outdoor Association).
