Robert Westers

Robert Westers has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Robert co-founded Tiqets in 2014 and served as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the product, operations, and data departments. Prior to Tiqets, they were the Chief Product Officer at Paylogic International, leading the product strategy and operations. Robert also held the role of Chief Product Officer at Nimbuzz, where they were responsible for product management, design, and business analysis. In addition, they served as the Director at Nimbuzz Internet India. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Director at Steape Ltd. and as a Business Consultant/Product Manager at TNO ICT. Robert began their career as a Research Consultant at KPN, specializing in mobile devices, networks, and service development. Robert Westers has a strong background in product management, project management, and mobile technology innovation.

Robert Westers obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 1991 to 1997. In 1996, they also engaged in a materials science program at the University of the Witwatersrand for a year. Additionally, in 1997, they completed an internship at Shell Research in Thornton, United Kingdom. In 1992 and 1993, they pursued a Radiation degree 4 in Nuclear Physics at the Nuclear Physics Institute (KVI). Later, from 2003 to 2005, they accomplished the NIMA-A and NIMA-B programs in Marketing.
