Leandro de Luca

Leandro De Luca is an accomplished engineering professional specializing in submarine and terrestrial fiber optics networks, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Submarine Cables Engineering at Sparkle since September 2022, Leandro is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing global submarine fiber optics networks, while overseeing network engineering projects and budget management. Previously, Leandro held the position of Planning & Engineering Manager at TI Sparkle Americas from October 2016 to September 2022, where responsibilities included network planning and design for the Americas. Leandro's career began as a Network Engineer and progressed through roles at Latin American Nautilus, Nortel Networks, and Alcatel, focusing on network design, support, installation, and testing. Leandro holds a degree in Electronic Engineering with a concentration in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Buenos Aires.
