Elise M. Devries

Elise M. DeVries has a strong background in medical device innovation and strategy. Elise M. started as a Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Neuroscience and Technology in 2008, where they designed a brain retraction device. Elise M. then worked as a Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine before joining CareFusion as a Sr. R&D Engineer. Elise later became a Biodesign Innovation Fellow at Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, after which they worked with Ethicon, Inc. as a Global Strategic Marketing Consultant. Elise M. then became a Principal Consultant at Medical Device Consulting, where they provided services in strategic marketing and product development. Currently, Elise is the Director of Innovation & Strategy at TISSIUM.

Elise M. DeVries holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained from 2005 to 2009. Elise M. also completed a Certificate in Technopreneurship at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2009 to 2010 and a Certificate in Advanced Project Management at Stanford University from 2013 to 2015.
