Alan Sorber obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992 to study Imaging Science but did not obtain a degree.
In addition to their formal education, Alan Sorber also holds several certifications. Alan obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum.org in March 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020. Alan also received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in November 2017.
