Alan Sorber

Alan Sorber has a strong background in information technology and project management. Alan is currently working as the Chief Architect at Titan Mining. Prior to this, they worked at Corning Incorporated for a significant part of their career. At Corning, they held various roles, including Product Owner & Architect for the Public Cloud, Enterprise Architect, Manager of Level 3 Operations - Critical Response Team, Manager of Application Foundation Services, Infrastructure Architect, Project Co-Leader for the Global Workstation Refresh, Team Leader for Messaging and Communications, IT Site Leader in Southern California, and Team Leader for Desktop Services. Before joining Corning, Alan had experience working as an IT Technician/WorkStudy at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and as a Technician at Zambelli Fireworks. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in infrastructure technology strategy, global infrastructure transformation and migration, team leadership, and project management.

Alan Sorber obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992 to study Imaging Science but did not obtain a degree.

In addition to their formal education, Alan Sorber also holds several certifications. Alan obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum.org in March 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020. Alan also received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in November 2017.
