Adam Trahan

Adam Trahan has over 15 years of professional experience in software engineering. In 2002, they began their career as a Multimedia Developer at Macon State College, where they developed web-based instructional materials and tutorials to enhance first year student retention. In 2005, they moved to NetSoft Associates Incorporated as a Programmer Analyst II, where they enhanced the reporting functionality of multi-national foreign military sales websites. In 2006, they joined Totalis Consulting Group as a Programmer Analyst III (Lead Developer), where they modernized applications for the Air Force LeanTI Group. In 2007, they joined Advanced Core Technologies as a Software Engineer (Technical Lead), where they developed and maintained geospatial web applications used for supply chain management and risk assessment. In 2010, they joined Research Management Consulting Incorporated as a Programmer III (Senior Developer - Team Lead), where they worked in a large team environment designing, developing, testing and maintaining H. R. management systems. In 2016, they joined Paylocity as a Software Engineer, where they worked on performance management tools used for gauging employee performance and calculating raises and bonuses. In 2021, they joined Deluxe as a Software Engineer 5, where they work closely with executive leadership, product managers, quality assurance, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing SAAS solutions for clients within the financial services industry. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Tive Inc, where they are responsible for designing and building robust, error tolerant, and scalable restful APIs using modern technologies.

Adam Trahan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology from Middle Georgia State University between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they studied Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1996 to 2000. In addition, Adam holds a Certified Scrum Developer certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2015, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in June 2012.
