Dr. Christoph Buss

Dr. Christoph Buss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dr. Christoph currently holds the position of Executive Vice President Product & Supply Chain, BU Europe-Africa at TK Elevator since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Global Escalator and VP Escalator Manufacturing Europe Africa at TK Elevator | TK Fahrtreppen | TK Norte from May 2020. Dr. Christoph also worked as the Managing Director at TK Fahrtreppen from May 2020 to February 2022. Before joining TK Elevator, Dr. Buss held the role of Head of Strategy, Markets & Development and elevate PMO at thyssenkrupp Elevator Europe Africa GmbH from February 2018 to April 2020. Dr. Christoph also worked as the Managing Director at thyssenkrupp Management Consulting from October 2010 to January 2018. Dr. Buss began their career at The Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader from January 2004 to September 2010, where they gained expertise in various industries and functional areas. Dr. Christoph started their professional journey with an internship at Accenture in February 2001 and also completed an internship at Kirchoff Consult AG in March 1999.

Dr. Christoph Buss has a diverse education history with a strong focus on finance, strategy, and statistics. Dr. Christoph completed their Diploma in Finance, Strategy, and Statistics at the University of Cologne from 1997 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions, at the University of Düsseldorf from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they participated in a summer term at UCLA in 1999 and an exchange term in the second year of their MBA program at the London Business School in 2002, where they studied Finance and Strategy. Dr. Christoph also completed a program in International Management, specifically Majeure Management International, at HEC Paris in 2000.
