Horia Hategan

Horia Hategan is an experienced safety engineer and environmental health and safety (EHS) professional currently serving as a Global OSH | Safety Engineer at TK Elevator since February 2024. Previously, Horia held the position of EHS Engineer at Intel Corporation from June 2022 to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting hazard assessments, and facilitating EHS incident investigations. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Health Safety Specialist at ContiTech and an EHS & Quality Manager at Otis Elevator Company, focusing on policy implementation, safety training, and corrective action plans. Horia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and a NEBOSH International General Certificate from Green World Group.
