John Wade

John Wade is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Contract Design Engineer II at TK Elevator since April 2018, John engages with students during Career Day initiatives and supports the Engineering Change Order process. Previous roles at TK Elevator include Contract Design Engineer I, where responsibilities encompassed designing various product types and transitioning team structures to enhance customer response. Prior to TK Elevator, John held engineering positions at Hunter Fan Company and Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, focusing on technical specifications, project needs, and capital projects. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
