Phoenix WEI has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. They began their career in 1991 as the Supply Chain and Im/Export Dept. Manager at China North Industries Corp. They then worked as a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager at Siemens from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they held various roles at GE Infrastructure, including Global Commodity and Asia Sourcing Leader, as well as China Ombudsperson. Phoenix then worked as the Asia Sourcing Director at W.W. Grainger, Global Supply Chain from 2011 to 2012. They later became the Asia Procurement Head at TE Connectivity from 2012 to 2016. Currently, Phoenix serves as the VP Purchasing Asia at TK Elevator.
Phoenix WEI earned an MBA in Statistics and Finance from Tsinghua University, completing the program from 2004 to 2006. In addition, they obtained additional certifications including CPSM from ISM in 2013, six sigma black belt from General Electric Company in 2008, and PMP from Project Management Institute in 2003.
