Uwe Schwarz

Uwe Schwarz is an experienced finance professional with a focus on treasury management and risk control. Since April 2020, Uwe has served as the Head of Treasury Back-Office at TK Elevator, where responsibilities include establishing back-office functions within corporate finance, implementing the Coupa Treasury Management System, and managing risk exposure related to foreign currency. Prior to this role, Uwe held the position of Head of Treasury Middle-/Back-Office at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, where a similar focus on workflow optimization and risk management was applied. Uwe has extensive experience in FX management and derivatives accounting from previous roles at thyssenkrupp AG and Commerzbank AG. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Financial Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund and certifications from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
