Jannis Kranz is currently the Technical Lead in Additive Manufacturing at thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, where they previously held the position of Expert Additive Manufacturing & Design. Prior to this, Jannis worked as a Design Engineer in Metal 3D Printing at Materialise, focusing on engineering and product development projects. They completed a Ph.D. at Technische Universität Hamburg, specializing in lightweight design for additive manufacturing, and have experience in creating lectures and workshops for both students and industrial clients. Jannis holds a diploma in mechanical engineering from Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg.
