Simona Cornegliani graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and earned another Master's degree from Leeds Metropolitan University. Currently residing in Lausanne, Switzerland, they work as a chef de projet d'architecture for Transport Lausannoise on the new metro m3 project. With extensive experience in international projects, they previously served as Chief Architect and Project Manager for the Doha Metro in Qatar and held positions in other significant infrastructure projects such as the Chennai Metro in India. From 2019 to 2022, Simona acted as Tender and Proposal Manager for csc costruzioni sa in Suisse Romande.
