Joep Bazelmans is a Senior Process Control Consultant with extensive experience in implementing advanced control solutions for chemical plants, including expertise in polymer and ethylene facilities. Joep worked as an Advanced Control Engineer at DSM Engineering Stamicarbon and later held various roles at SABIC, where they focused on advanced process control and optimization. Joep has also contributed to the development of new strategies in process automation through positions at DSM TechnoPartners and served as a member of the Board of Directors for AspenTech Control & Optimization World User Group. Currently, Joep helps companies enhance operations through model-based control solutions at TMC. Joep holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
