Joel Fleck

Joel Fleck is the President of Fleck Associates, specializing in industry standards activities and open source with a focus on cloud computing, cyber-security, and distributed computing. They have extensive experience in designing policy-based distributed management systems and researching advanced proactive adaptive management architectures. Previously, Fleck served in various roles, including Chief Architect at Hewlett-Packard and Director for multiple standards bodies, where they directed strategic initiatives and developed standards for cloud computing. Fleck holds degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Vermont, University of Michigan, and University of Colorado Boulder.
