Jeff Bernstein has extensive experience in telecommunications policy and market intelligence. Jeff has worked as a Director, Policy and Market Intelligence at TMG since October 2020, where they analyze business and regulatory environments worldwide and advises clients on policy, regulatory, and strategy issues. Prior to this role, Jeff served as a Senior Business and Policy Advisor at TMG from January 2009 to October 2020, focusing on areas such as IoT and M2M communications, cybersecurity, spectrum management, and broadband policies. Jeff also worked as a Business, Technology, and Regulatory Advisor at TMG from January 2002 to December 2008, where they analyzed global telecommunications environments and provided strategic guidance. Jeff has further experience as a Strategic Management Consultant at CompassRose International in 2001, where they developed product and marketing strategies. Jeff began their career as an International Government Affairs Intern at AT&T in 2001, conducting research on Japanese telecommunications regulation. Prior to that, Jeff worked as a Research Analyst at the Investor Responsibility Research Center from June 1998 to December 1999, managing custom research projects and producing reports on U.S. corporate governance.
Jeff Bernstein has a solid education history that spans over several years. Jeff first attended the University of California, Davis from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics. Following this, they pursued further education at the American University School of International Service, completing a Master of Arts degree in International Communication from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, during this same period, Jeff also attended the American University - Kogod School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration specializing in Management of Global Information Technology and International Business.
