Susan Rivera

Susan Rivera is the current Chief Executive Officer at Tokio Marine HCC. Susan has held this position since March of 2018. Prior to their current role, Susan was the President & CEO of V3 Insurance Partners from September 2009 to March 2018. V3 Insurance Partners is a multi-line Managing General Underwriter focusing on servicing small to mid-sized insurance risks. Susan was also the President of QBE North America's Specialty Program division from June 2007 to June 2009.

Susan's career in the insurance industry began in 1987 when they joined AIG. Susan held various positions in the company starting in the actuarial department before progressing to the Financial Lines division of National Union and eventually becoming the President of American Home Assurance Company. In 2002, Susan left AIG to join QBE North America as the President of their Specialty Program division. After a successful two years in this role, they were recruited by V3 Insurance Partners to become their President & CEO in 2009.

Under Susan's leadership, both QBE North America and V3 Insurance Partners experienced significant growth. When they joined Tokio Marine HCC as their CEO in 2018, they brought with their a wealth of knowledge and experience in the insurance industry. Tokio Marine HCC has flourished under Susan's leadership, and they are widely respected by their peers for their dedication to their work and their commitment to excellence.

Susan Rivera earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Villanova University. Susan is certified from the FCAS in actuarial science.
