Michael Gilbert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Michael started their career at Bloomberg LP as a Senior Technology Consultant, where they focused on porting C++ libraries to Python and improving server deployment processes. Michael then joined Wabi Clean as a Principal Developer, where they implemented strategic IT planning, resulting in increased web traffic and sales. Michael also streamlined tool development, reducing the development lifecycle by 30%. After that, Michael joined PyBased LLC as a Software Engineer Manager, where they worked closely with startups and SMBs, providing project support and ensuring client satisfaction. Michael then moved on to Proptia as a Lead Software Engineer, before joining Disco as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. At Disco, Michael built AWS data pipelines, created platform integrations for E-Commerce partners, and propagated secure permissions in AWS. Currently, they are working at TMT Insights as a Senior Backend Engineer.
Michael Gilbert completed their education at various institutions. Michael first attended Irvine Valley College from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, during their time at Irvine Valley College, they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Studies: Teacher Education as well as an AA degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Subsequently, from 2022 to 2023, Michael enrolled in California State University, Fullerton, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
