David Arnold

David Arnold, FCPA, FCA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer at TMX Group since June 2021, overseeing the finance function, strategic financial planning, corporate development, and investor relations. Prior to this role, David held multiple executive positions at CIBC from May 2001 to May 2021, including Executive Vice President of Enterprise Programs, Technology & Operations, and Executive Vice President of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Simplification, where responsibilities ranged from transformational initiatives to earnings diversification. David also served as Global Controller and Finance Business Support Executive Vice President at CIBC. Earlier in David's career, tenures included positions at Arthur Andersen as Senior Manager in Assurance and Business Advisory. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town.
