Bas van Dijk is a scientist specializing in PEM water electrolysis and green hydrogen at TNO since July 2021. Prior to this position, Bas conducted PhD research in molecular electrocatalysis at Leiden University from January 2016 to December 2020, focusing on water oxidation, oxygen reduction, and the electrochemical production of H2O2 while utilizing various electrochemical and spectroscopic techniques. Additional experience includes a temporary role as a laboratory assistant at OMEGAM Laboratoria, serving as treasurer for the Amsterdams Chemisch Dispuut, and working in administrative capacities at Lucertis and TNT Post. Academically, Bas holds a PhD from Leiden University, a master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the same institution, and a VWO diploma from Kennemer College Bullerlaan.
