Caren Lanting is a research scientist at TNO's Child Health expertise group, specializing in evidence-based medicine and preventive child health. With a PhD in Medicine and a Master's in Epidemiology, Caren has developed guidelines and designed projects focused on improving child health outcomes. Previous roles include serving as a medical examiner and resident physician, as well as conducting research at the University of Groningen, where Caren completed a thesis on the effects of perinatal exposure to PCB and dioxins on child development. Having worked at TNO since 2000, Caren continues to contribute to the field of epidemiology.
