Cass Chideock

Cass Chideock is a Senior Consultant at TNO, with extensive experience in public sector roles that emphasize transformation and efficiency within government operations. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Director of the SME Programme at Crown Commercial Service, where Cass focused on ensuring that one-third of government spending was directed towards SMEs by 2022. Notable contributions at the Cabinet Office include building a high-performing Data Sharing Policy Team and developing innovative anti-fraud strategies that addressed £37bn of fraud in the public sector. Cass has also played key roles in the development of the UK Government's ICT strategy and transparency efforts, including creating the world’s first Open Data Strategy. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in History from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History with Italian from the University of Warwick.
