Daan Pisa is a researcher in innovation policy at TNO since September 2023, focusing on innovation ecosystems, strategic autonomy, and transitions. Prior experience includes serving as a student assistant at Utrecht University, evaluating the Utrecht Centre for Entrepreneurship, and completing a thesis internship at TNO Energy Transition Studies, where a master's thesis on insulation measures among Dutch households was developed. Daan also worked as a program manager at UtrechtInc Students, promoting entrepreneurship among students, and as a trainee at NOVU, analyzing innovation processes and conducting research on inventor needs. Educational achievements include a master's degree in Innovation Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Innovation Management from Utrecht University, as well as secondary education focused on Nature and Technology from Oosterlicht College Nieuwegein.
