Gemma Neroni

Gemma Neroni is a Medior Space System Engineer at TNO since June 2023, contributing to the core team for the Sentinel-5 calibration campaign. Previously, Gemma worked at ISISPACE Group as a Space Systems Engineer and Operations Engineer from August 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included developing and implementing hardware and Python software for shock test facilities. Gemma briefly participated in an ESA Academy online space debris training course in May 2021, focusing on project simulations related to satellite disposal and collision avoidance strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager at SINTECO from April 2018 to September 2020, managing automation projects valued up to €7 million. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Space Science and Technology from University College Dublin and a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Zurich. Additional educational background consists of a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Università di Trento and a Scientific High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei.
